01 — Our Story
Kemet — the ancient Egyptian word for Egypt, meaning "the black land." It refers to the fertile dark soil deposited by the Nile's annual floods: origin, abundance, and 5,000 years of agricultural heritage. The Earth.

Wave — the movement of goods across the Mediterranean, through Rotterdam's harbour, to kitchens and shelves across Europe and the Gulf. Trade, flow, and the maritime corridors connecting producer to consumer. The Sea.

KemetWave B.V. is the living bridge between these two forces — products that begin in ancient soil and travel across open water to reach the world. Our pyramid rises from the earth; the wave beneath carries it forward. Every QR code, every IoT sensor reading, every cooperative story makes that journey visible and verifiable.

Common Questions
Everything buyers, partners, and retailers ask us.

We trade five core product lines: organic Deglet Nour dates from Tunisia, extra-virgin olive oil from Cap Bon, cold-pressed black seed oil from Egypt's Fayoum region, sun-dried hibiscus from Upper Egypt, and artisan spice blends from Alexandria. All products are organic certified and QR-traceable.

KemetWave B.V. is incorporated in the Netherlands with its operational hub in Rotterdam — Europe's largest port. Our sourcing operations span Egypt and Tunisia through direct cooperative partnerships, and we distribute to EU and GCC markets.

Every KemetWave product carries a GS1 Digital Link QR code. When scanned, it displays the product's full journey: harvest date and cooperative, organic certification details, IoT transit data (temperature, humidity, location), and arrival records. This transparency is available to retailers, food safety authorities, and end consumers alike.

MOQs vary by product and buyer type. For wholesale and distribution partners, we typically operate on pallet-level quantities. For specialty retailers and smaller importers, we offer flexible case-level ordering. Contact us directly to discuss your requirements.

Yes. All KemetWave products are certified organic under EU Regulation 2018/848. We are registered with Skal Biocontrole (NL-BIO-01) in the Netherlands and work only with certified organic cooperatives in Egypt and Tunisia. Certification documents are available on request and via product QR codes.

Our primary markets are the European Union (distributed via Rotterdam) and the GCC region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman). We work with organic retailers, specialty food importers, food service distributors, and private-label partners.

Every shipment is loaded into reefer containers equipped with IoT sensors that continuously monitor temperature, humidity, and handling. Data is transmitted in real time and stored against each product batch. If conditions deviate from spec at any point, alerts are triggered immediately. Full transit logs are accessible to buyers via the product QR code.
